6-1-2008London, U.K. — Time Electronics LTD. has announced that it has finalized an agreement with East Hills Instruments Inc. granting them the exclusive distribution rights for North America. East Hills Instruments Inc. will sell and market TIME instruments under the brand name of Time Electronics U.S.A.
TIME Electronics U.S.A. will be based out of East Hills Instruments Inc. headquarters in New York, NY. Martin Bailey President of Time Electronics Ltd. says “this deal will allow the TIME Electronics brand to gain a stronger market share and brand awareness in North America”. Time Electronics LTD. is one of the leading manufacturer’s of test and measurement equipment in Europe.
Time Electronics U.S.A. will immediately be rolling out a marketing plan that will include: trade shows, direct mailings, distributor co-op advertising, as well as, an aggressive internet and e-mail campaign. Mr. Seth Ratner VP of Sales and Marketing for TIME Electronics U.S.A. says that “our marketing efforts will be in conjunction with expanding and strengthening our existing channels of distribution”.
Mr. Cary Ratner, President of East Hills Instruments stated that “Time Electronics U.S.A. will create a tremendous amount of synergy between some of East Hills Instruments existing house brands”. He further states that “our calibration and test equipment sales have grown by over 67% in the past 12 months”.
